Ontario Rockies Baseball Club offers a year-round baseball development program as follows: 

  • Fall ball: Fall program runs in Sept - Oct (till weather permits). During this time, teams train at least twice a week, and play games on the weekends. Fall games are exhibition games and provide coaching staff an opportunity to assess our athletes in a game situation and get an understanding on their development needs. Exhibition games are played against teams from various leagues, and involves weekend travel in Ontario, Montreal, and/or Western NY. 
  • Indoor training: This part of the program runs from Nov to April. During this time teams train at least 3 days a week with Strength and Conditioning component every day. Players are encouraged to attend additional optional workouts to get maximum benefits from the program. 
  • Spring/Summer league play: As of 2023, Rockies teams will play in the PBLO (Premier Baseball League of Ontario). This part of the program runs from May to July. All teams practice 2-3 days/week with games scheduled throughout Ontario on weekends. Additionally, our teams participate in summer tournaments in Canada and the United States.
  • Optional Cuba Trip:
    All Ontario Rockies players and families can participate in the March Break Cuba trip offered through the Ontario Baseball Academy. All-inclusive trip (airfare + hotel+ food + entertainment and trips) is at an additional cost. The trip offers players comprehensive baseball training in Cuba with National and Olympic level coaches, exhibition games with competitive local Cuban teams, and fun & entertainment for families.
